I’ve been kicking an idea around for some time for a web page devoted to reporting the latest findings from the scientific community on exercise physiology, endurance research, and the like. As I see it, there is a lot of disconnect from original reporting in the scientific literature to being reported on the mainstream (even on a pretty vigilant site like slowtwitch). As a researcher at a major university, one of my job perks is an extensive online subscription to almost any journal you could imagine, which puts me in a nice place to research and report on interesting findings.
To give you an idea what this might look like, I plopped out a few articles on a generic blogspot account: http://www.exerscience.blogspot.com/
Anyway, before I decide whether to pursue this, I thought I would solicit comments as to whether this is something people would enjoy reading and, if so, what kinds of constructive comments you might offer as far as format, content, etc?
FYI I do not claim to be an expert racer or anything. I just like to write, and thought this might be a nice opportunity to fill a niche.
