My wife and I are moving to Portland in about 2 months and we are having trouble finding triathlon clubs on the web.
Can any of you PDX’ers recommend a few?

First, you’re a very lucky person to be moving there…one of the best places in the world. I just moved from there to be closer to family, and I miss it terribly.
There are a handful of really good clubs up there. The Geckos and the Head Hunters come to mind first. The Head Hunters are more up in Vancouver, WA, but you’ll probably be venturing up there a lot regardless of whether you live in Portland, or across the river (absolutely phenominal biking up in Clark County). The Geckos are run out of a tri shop on about 180th and Halsey…great folks and lots of good resources there too. Weekly bike rides, etc. Either way, you won’t go wrong.

This club is for ANY ABILITY LEVEL athlete who simply wants to go long. For the “Elite,” there are some outstanding sponsors. For the beginner, it’s a great environment to learn. For everyone, it’s fun.
