Triathlon Apparel

I would be interested in a Coolmax type of t-shirt and maybe a singlet. Something I could wear while training. On the front it would have the following: TRIATHLON is SWIM until your arms are heavy and you think you’ll drown, then BIKE until your legs are burning and you’re exhausted, then RUN until your lungs feel like bursting and you want to puke. TRIATHLON is pushing yourself to the limit and beyond. on the back it would say: If Triathlon were easy, they would call it football! Maybe some good graphics to go with the words. Does anyone have suggestions for where I might look to acquire this? Don

you don’t need a singlet, you need a sandwich board. dude, that’s a lot of words for a jersey, imho.

You might want to rethink that statement on the back. Football is anything but easy. Having a 220 pound linebacker hit you at full speed, then getting up to do the next play again, is not what I would call easy.

Maybe replace it w/ golf…That’s the ultimate sissy sport.

Speaking as a former offesive left tackle, I have hurt worse after one football game than I have after the 15 triathlons I have done combined.

Try picking on tennis.

Dude, pick another sport. As a former D1 collegiate tennis player I will tell you there is nothing easy about a 3-4 hour match on a surface that averages 125 degrees, especially when you finish you get an hour or so and then have to go right back out for you next match. While you don’t get hit every play, like an offensive/defensive lineman, it is every bit as physically demanding.

find a local SMALL screenprinter who works with other tri groups in your community. Pick up a coolmax singlet, shirt, set your artwork up however the printer needs it (normally just printed on white paper if they are a small printer) and have them do the printing. Screens and printing will probably be $60-$100 for what you want. But as the others said, that’s a hell of a lot of text and noone will ever get a chance to read it all.

Ok, Ok, Ok, … I get the message!
