After the Catalina Triathlon yesterday, I saw a guy get a great surprise while he was packing up his stuff. He said someone had forgotten their swim goggles, so he handed over his backup pair, expecting never to see them again. Instead, they were slipped back inside his bag, with $20 and a note of thanks for saving a stranger’s race.
I like being associated with people like that!
