This is the model from the Triathlete magazine swimsuit edition. I missed the previous threads on the issue and just saw the issue myself (I’ve been awful busy).

I liked the issue and the pictorial. I thought the photos were fun and the models awesome. The girls looked great and the best photo may have been of the two guys doing the transition in the sun on the beach. That was so cool. It really captured an alluring elelment of the sport and athleticism.

It was very apparent in the swimsuit issue who the professional model was… She was the only one that even TRIED to look alluring (and succeeded).

Of course the editing on that mag gave me a new level of disrespect for the writers…

I think this photo will put to rest the whole “snorkel” argument. Scuba, snorkel, who cares? That must be the clearest saltwater I have ever seen, too!

The photo of the two guys putting on their shoes on the beach was so cool. It captured the aesthetic of the sport.

According to the article there was a rumor out that she was a triathlete, which is why she was picked for the issue. By the end of the shoot she had become friends with the women and decided to do one.

I remember that picture, I was drooling over the Blade in that shot and getting nervous about it touching the sand.

While Michelle is very sexy, I thought the real tri chicks were hotter. Something about athletic women…

This years issue was sub-par.

One the SI models lives in my neighborhood, I saw her walking down my street about a month ago.

Considering it was Sunday morning and I was hanging out with my 18month old daughter it was probably just a couple cups of coffee. It you have the magazine you will notice that one of the models is from IL.

I definately agree. I’m actually happy to hear she was a model rather than a triathlete. She was not looking too “fit”.

Very hot indeed.

Speaking of snorkel, they took her’s off her mask strap. Probably didn’t look good in the pic. So much for realism. Come to think of it, maybe they digitally removed it while they were cleaning her up.

Also I’m pissed at Dacor, they stopped selling rebuild kits for all their regulators forcing people to buy completely new regulators…and lost lots of people’s business FOREVER.

All that aside, who cares if this girl is “Fit” she looks pretty great.
