I know there was some speculation regarding the probability of the refunds showing up when Tri101 ceased operation. But props to them, my check arrived in the mail today.
With $200K in unused prize $$ burning a hole in their pocket, I would hope everyone gets their entry fees back…
No race, no sponsors, no prize money. I doubt there is anything burning in their pockets other than possibly a bit of sour taste.

HFP Racing is a first class outfit. I don’t think there was ever a question about whether or not they’d actually send checks.
What happened to the tri 101 forum? I just noticed it is not available in the index.
It went away the day the announcement was made that the whole series was cancelled…
Slowman posted a message saying that all the Tri 101 forum content had been merged into the main forum. It isn’t really “gone”.
Got mine yesterday as well. Really expected a longer wait. Good for them on the refund at least.

I honestly believed that they would, but I expected that it would take longer. I felt it was important after the bashing they took over the cancellation of the season to report that they were living up to their reported intentions.

So I guess I’ll get mine in a week or two after the dogsleds have a chance to deliver the mail here in Canada.
