Tri suit. Need help!

Hi

Iam buying two piece trisuite and i wondered if anyone here could help me to choose? I have been looking at the tyr Carbon tri short and top and 2xu. Do you have any other shorts and tops i can take a look at? I am going to use it at 70.3 competitions.

I would highly suggest taking a look at DeSoto’s kits. I used to wear 2XU and have used TYR as well but since trying out Desoto I will never go back. High quality and has an awesome pad in the shorts.

Thanks for the quick answer. How did you like the tyr short? The problem for me will be that desoto will be expensive to get shipped due to taxes.

I really didnt care of it, the pair i had was basically a felt pad very thin and it worked for the short distances races but I wouldnt want it on a 70.3.

I would recommend kiwami tri suits. I just bought a two-piece suit from them and really like it. They have good customer service too. When I wrote them an email about the type of suit that might be best for me, they responded promptly and were informative.

These days a lot of us are racing on split saddle designs and I’m not even sure a pad does much.

Thanks for the answers guys! I am riding on an ism saddle but i still like some padding. What about zoots tri suits?

The zoot tri suits don’t have a lot of padding but I like it on my ISM Time Trial. I actually find too much padding (say on my Sugoi bike shorts) gets in the way and is painful.

My zoot tri suit only has a piece of fleece as a pad. Not sure if that’s the case with all their shorts/suits.

Thanks for the help. I think ill go for the Carbon 9" Male Tri Short this time.
