just moved to the golden, co area and need a new wetsuit. I don’t really know my size and because each company sizes differently i would like to try some on and see what i think, but i’m running into trouble finding a shop that carries more than 1 brand and i’d like to get it done and one place because of the time it’s going to take. Any suggestions? and thanks in advance!
Most online stores will let you order multiple suits and return the ones that do not fit. Just tell them in advance, and they will explain the return policy, etc.
TriSports.com should be only 1, maybe 2 days shipping via UPS Ground (AZ->CO) and they have a great selection and great prices. Probably will save enough on tax to more than cover the cost of return shipments.
Bike Source at County Line (C-470) and University are one of / the largest tri shop in the area. Just go up the stairs. YMMV.

I’m not aware of a store in the area that has a ton of different brands in stock but I can offer a couple of suggestions… You could try BikeSource on County Line Road and University. They have a lot of QR in stock at least.
I recently got a DeSoto First Wave and was worried about buying sight unseen over the internet. I have to say though that they really know what they are doing as my fit was perfect. Email emilio@desotosport.com with the following information…
After I ordered I had it in a couple of days. They will take a return or exchange if it doesn’t fit and are a super cool company in my experience. I am so happy with the two piece. It is comfortable, is easy to get on and is super fast to get off… I love it!

Since I do not know what you look like I need to create a mental picture of you. If you have a low resolution image of yourself from a race or something that would help also, but it is not necessary.
Also any additional information that you know about your body type that you think might be important for me to know. Some memorable, yet helpful ones I have received include:
“I have a long torso”
“I have a bucket like J-LO”
“I have large thighs like a track cyclist”
“I have a classic pear-shape body, but I can’t help it.”
“I grew up swimming and my shoulders are very broad”
“A lot of my weight is in my beer belly, but I am training to get rid of it”
After getting all this information I am happy to give you my opinion of the perfect size combination of Bibjohn, Pullover and/or Vest.
Please be sure to include your telephone number in case it becomes easier to call you.
What kind of job are you looking for?
I bought my wetsuit at Fleet Feet in Boulder, they were very nice and helpful

Thanks, i’m going to email the boys at desoto immediately, thanks!
In terms of the job hunt, i’m a recent college grad from a small school with a good reputation in the midwest (kalamazoo college) i’m looking for a job hopefully in sales or the business world in general, but i was a biology major and an art minor so companies seem to be uninterested. thanks for any help you can provide, my email is: k01ma03@kzoo.edu or michaelllarce@hotmail.com
thanks again everyone, in my unemployed state i probably shouldn’t be buying a wetsuit anyway, but new toys are cool
Cool, welcome to Colorado. If you are interested, here is a fun venue to give that new wetsuit a spin… http://www.aquathonusa.com/
A bunch of us are signed up for the July 13 “happy hour”… We are the ones with all the kids by the transition area so stop over and say hello.
