I am in the market for a new set of tri shoes. Whats everyone recommend?
I just got a new pair of shoes…they are Lakes (don’t even know the model) but they are single straped (seems obvious). Cost $43 on sale from from $79 bucks. Rode in them a couple of times already…would not know the difference if I got a better shoe…so, just go with what fits and is easy to go in and out of.
Specialized tri-vents

I have the specialized tro02. I like them a lot, I even recently baught a 2nd pair. At first they seemed loose compared to my sidi geniuses, but now I love them, I put superfeet in them and they are great. If you go that route size way down, I wear a 12 running shoe and a 10.5 tr02, I got my second pair from a guy who wears a 10.5 running shoe and baught a 10.5 shimano. I lucked out.
FWIW: the guy who sold me the shoes, got the specialized trivents and says that they are awsome.
