Tony Svenson is also an excellent tri photographer. My favorite is probably Delly Carr, perhaps one of the finest photojournalists alive today.

why did you ask?

Check out www.derekcooper.com. I just discovered some of his stuff yesterday looking for photos of the K-Town Tri, and liked his close-up pictures of swimmers taking their breaths. There’s probably other nice stuff (beyond some very appealing “fashion” shots that are there!) on his site as well, but I didn’t wade through it extensively.
