When I logged in today I was pleased to see that Dan has given recognition to the Tri-it Bike Shop and it’s owner Robbie Driskell. I used to live in the Mobile, Al area and knew of Robbie before I became a Triathlete (We worked at the same YMCA together). However I didn’t get to know him till we both ended up going through Physical Therapy at the same clinic (both of us had torn ACL’s). Talking to him that spring of 1994 inspired me to do Triathlons. Nine years later I am still greatful to him for getting me started in this great sport. I moved from Alabama before the Tri-it Bike Shop ever opened but I know that It is probably an awesome store. Each year I knew Robbie he always had newer and nicer bikes ( I guess a benefit of working at a bike shop) and always demonstrated great knowledge of the sport and of good equipment.
