Tri frame question?

Is it a good idea to ride a tri frame as a road bike, and also i ride a transition pro alum 07, is it worth me upgrading to a kuota k-factor?

If you have a road bike, use it. The geometries of a tri bike mean that it is hard to climb effectively. They have a longer wheelbase, which makes them more stable at speed, but it means that they aren’t quite as “racy”. Actually, if you switch between a tri bike and a road bike, you can feel it quite easily.

We used to have a guy in our roadie group who had a QR Kilo fitted with drop bars and STI. He had the seat slammed back as far as possible to try to compensate for the 78 degree seat post and a stack of spacers under the stem. So it’s doable, but why?

thanks guys, buy to many what ifs involved, yes i did know it was possible just did not know if it would be effective for me all across the board! However i went with a bianchi evs2 frame to build up a full DA road bike so i guess i should be happy?
