Anyone out there ride a Trek Equinox? Is there a big difference between a 9.5 and 9.9?

I ride a 2006 Equinox 9 - aluminum and I am happy. You can look up the differences on the trek website. Most likely a few components depending on the year. As far as the ride quality - I doubt it will be noticeable, but what do I know I ride aluminum.

The 9.5 and 9.9 frames are the same. The difference between the two is the fork, gruppo, etc.
