Trek TTX vs. Cervelo P2C sizing question

I saw on this forum a reference to P2C and TTX sizing and the fact that they were very similar. I’ve looked at the stack and reach database, but can’t really reconcile that statement with the numbers. For example, a 56 P2C has a nearly identical stack to a Medium TTX (53.1 vs. 53.0), but the P2C has a much longer head tube (14.0 vs. 11.5). I think that the 11.5 headtube is not going to work. Move up a size to the Large TTX and the reaches are very close (42.9 vs. 42.8), but the stack is now off (53.1 vs. 56.8). So, which TTX size corresponds most closely with the P2C? (maybe neither?) Can a 6’ guy with long torso/32" inseam ride a Large TTX?

Also, does anyone know of a good tri bike fitter that is also a Trek dealer in the Midwest area (Cincy, Columbus, Indy, etc.)? I would ideally like to see someone who sells Trek and at least 2-3 other good brands. Thanks.

I can’t tell you much about the P2 vs TTX comparison, but I can tell you that I’m 5’11" with a 34" inseam and am quite comfortable on my medium TTX. I think the large might be too big.

I weighted this same decision and I am your size as well.

I believe the 54 P2C matches pretty well with a medium TTX (depending on stem size of course). I know if I was going to get either of those two bikes that is the size I would get.

the large TTX is pretty big. I am 6’2", with long legs, and I dont have a ton of seatpost out.
