What size frame is that? The aero bottle looks bigger than the bike itself. Looks like it is setup for a Keebler Elf? ![]()
elf version?
Yes, yes, I’m a Keebler Elf! It’s a 47cm WSD. The aero bottle is pretty useless because it’s very hard to get out of there, especially since the bike is so tiny. I think it will be my toolbox. But the behind the seat drink system is awesome. Never had one before that 1. didn’t launch bottles, 2. I found easy to reach. This one’s finally a winner. The only drawback is that it’s a tad heavier than the other ones I’ve tried.

its kinda cool that you are so tiny the bottle turns your bike into a trimble
.
ok so now the real question…are you a convert to 700c or do you like your 650c cervelo more?
jodi, how did you get on the timex team? have you been to any training camps/events yet? That is so cool. what a great experience.
I think I need a couple hundred miles before I make a decision on that one. It rode pretty great today and it’s definitely fast. The big problems with the 700 are achieving the same drop and toe overlap. So I am not converting quite yet but the door is open. Can’t wait to see how it races!

I have no idea why they chose me but I am soooo thankful! My first camp is next week and I just can’t wait!

No problem to get the bottle in and out??

No problems at all getting the rear bottles out. In and out very easily.

I was thinking more about the aero bottle on the frame. Not much room there.
I posted earlier in the thread that the aero bottle is pretty useless. Very hard to get out.

It’s too bad you can’t redrill the bolt holes for it and move the whole thing down into the P4 position and still allow the bottle to be of use. Myabe you need one of the resident carbon techies to help you do just that. It would look awesome.
On some bottle cages you can add a second set of holes to move the cage down. I have done that for the cages on my wifes bike (also small). With the standard hole positions the bottles would hit each other so you couldn’t really use two bottles at once.
I have not seen the bontrager bottle cage, so I don’t know if its possible with that cage type.
edited to add that if you could move it down this way it would also be easier to get the bottle out of the cage as it would be further from the top tube.
Congrats! My wife has the same bike (47 WSD) and loves it. She’s found it to be extremely stable and fun to ride. I showed her the picture of yours, and she said she was jealous of the color. Uh-oh. Might be time for a paint job! lol
Mismatched valve extenders.
Black bar tape.
Mismatched components (Shimano and SRAM)
Nasty old saddle.
Forearms probably angled downward (judging from the angle of those extensions.
Garage door not fully painted to the edges.
Paint overspray onto the rubber door gasket.
Dirty handprints on the garage door.
Distracting highlight in the bottom right corner of the photo.
Barrel distortion in the cheap camera lens.
Did I miss anything? I couldn’t see the bike for all these glaring and outrageous faults.
C’mon Jodi…you’ve been around here long enough to know better than to post such a pic!

Well if you’re being that picky
Both valve extensions in different locations
Crank arms not parallel to the chain stays
Front QR not running parallel to the ground
…
that’s a good idea.
