I know spring is coming but I’m looking for a treadmill for my wife. I’d like something in a moderate price range(not a total POS, but it doesn’t need all the bells and whistles). She would use it mostly for walking and some light jogging. I may use it on occasion,(that being a torrential downpour). What do you suggest? Thanks

So I gues you are going to use it more then her. Lifefitness 9500 series. Used on ebay. Will last you a lifetime at the cost of a shitty one. Just search it on ebay, I found one for 1,300.00 di not buy it but got a Johnny G spin bike the guy had instead.
If you are near a big city, I’d go with Craigslist, and get something used which is recommended by the treadmilldoctor. I will be in the same boat this summer after we move (I use the treadmills at school - but my wife cannot get there as easily). We are looking at getting a used Precor, Landice, or True, probably for about $1,000.
I’ll second the True. It was the pricier model but I needed the 12mph capability. The 10mph are reasonable. Don’t go with a cheapy, you’ll put it on craigslist 2 years later when it hasn’t been used in a year and a half.
love my Landice. Gym club quality for half the price. Well made and can withstand my fat arse running on it.
