I’m thinking about buying a treadmill for home. Anyone have one? Any recomendations or suggestions when buying one?
My local Dicks has their top of the line modle that regularly sells for $1399 on sale for $699. Do you think it is all that good?
Can’t comment on the Dick’s treadmill since you didn’t mention what it is. We have a NordicTrack. I can’t remember the model number, but it’s like their #2 mill I think. So far, it’s been great (1 year). It has good cushioning, which is adjustable, and seems sturdy. The deck folds upward to save space, which is crucial in our little house. Runner’s World has done some comparasion tests, which you should be able to find on line. The ones that are usually top rated are the True mills, but they are really expensive and don’t fold.
Key features to look for are deck cushioning (if you have knee issues, anyway), strong motor, and durability.
