I’m in the market for a new bike, and am without a LBS that does more than bike sizing. I can rely on LBS to do good maintenance after purchase, but feel I want some help in getting the fit right. I’ve seen some ads for shops (that are listed as FIST certified here) that do “bike fit weekends.” Complete Fit (and purchase) of a bike, then a day of riding around on it with readjustments if necessary, plus rebate towards travel arrangement. There’s a shop in CA that advertises this and one in the Phoenix area, plus I’m sure more that I don’t know about. Have any of you done this? Good experience? bad?
