Yeah, I used to work for a corporate potato farm and it blows my mind how much water they use to grow potatoes. Don’t even get me started on the chemicals they dump on the ground.
Yet, my friend puts a brick in the tank of his toilet to conserve water. The brick in the toilet is a noble gesture but, in the grand scheme of things, doesn’t make a bit of difference.
