I once saw on-line a foot washing device for transitions but I can no longer find it. It is like a thing you blow up and ends up being the shape of two feet which you put water in. Does anyone know where to find this on-line? I know you can use a shallow pail or something like that but this device looks interesting.
I use this at T1
.
A towel.
Only a triathlete would actually want a specific “device” to wash feet in T1, I think this officially solidifies your “Gear-Freak” status.
Towel, wipe em’ off and giver’ if you have time for a foot bath, you aren’t going hard enough

You have got to be fricking kidding. Why not pack a picnic table and a keg while you are at it??? Transition areas = limited space. Use a small towel.
Water bottle will do it.
I’m dreading the day when the mother of all tri geeks strolls into the transition area loaded down with everything ever invented for the triathlete.
With my luck he’ll be racked right next to me.
I get one of the relay people to lick mine clean. They have nothing else to do while hanging out in transition all day.
Here is another idea!
You can get a bucket like in the picture, a very large size paint bucket maybe. Decorate it with cool stickersso it won’t look cheap near $$$ equipment. It will serve as:
- Transition bag, you can carry all your stuff in it!
- Fillwith water to wash your feet after the swim!
- And in T2 flip it over to use it as a stool and wet the shit out of other people’s gear justlike the MF’er next to me did!
This is the funniest thread I’ve ever read. Great work everyone!!!

I’ve actually seen worse, a couple months back at a sprint I seen some guy with a cooler, fold up chair, huge bag and a bunch of other crap, basically it took up the whole rack.
I just want to know why I can’t back my Motorhome up to the transition area and go take a shower before the bike ride, I mean it is salt water!
I can’t believe I’m showing someone where to find this…
Is this what you have in-mind?

God I hope we don’t end up next to each other in transition!

Rinse-n Ride!!??? No effin’ way.
We are doomed.
rubber door mat with holes + water bottle.
Just run through someone else’s
.
please, not another jackass who will dump their footbath in transition and soak everyones nearby gear.
.
It is like the rinse-n-ride but smaller and more shaped like a person’s feet. I see other people’s concerns: having something like that filled with water in T1 can make a potential mess.
