Transition bag (1)

I’m looking at a few brands such as Rocket Science, Zipp and De Soto, any recommendations?

I use the Tyr transition backpack.

Zoot’s bag is awesome! Can almost get your bike in there!

I use a backpack that has an area for my folded wetsuit and an area for my dry stuff. Helmet gets hooked onto the straps, cycling shoes stay on the bike and run shoes are on my feet. I’m cheap so a trash bag would probably work for me.

I use & like the tyr.
You can often find it brand new for $50.
It’s huge, so resist the temptation to stuff it full, cuz it’ll get heavy.
I find that for the price, it works just right.
Clip out wetsuit bag, enough pockets to get the job done.
No real helmet area to speak of, but that’s usually on my noggin anyhow.

I looked at the zoots & not only were they huge, but also very pricey.

I liked the look of the rocket science bags quite a bit, and the quality seemed that if i ever wanted to pay up for one, it’d be the only one i ever needed. solid zippers, great waterproof fabric, a millions pockets for everything. nice & slim, but could expand to hold a house. but i didn’t want to spend 180.

Rocket Science is awesome. I bought it for my boyfriend and wanted to keep it for myself. very well organized, slim, really sharp looking.

I am ordering the Nathan bag, but haven’t got it yet. I’ll let you know how that one is.

Desoto’s current bag is awesome, very bomber, great storage options for all your gear, big enough to carry everything you need, but not big enough to be tempted to carry everything you own.

The rack strap is also a nice feature to keep your gear off the ground on wet days.

Love my Rocket Science bag… Plenty of room for everything and comfortable to carry. I use it alot when traveling too.

I have the Zoot bag. Its the middle one the one without the wheels. I like it but get agravated trying to zip the top compartment as it always jams on material. Also when packed and going to work it rides up my back and hits the Limar aero helmet I “sometimes” ride to work with on. It’s ten miles away and sometimes I like to make it into a TT.
