Can the t6c really help you train better? I was reading the t6c training material and was wondering
if t6c users are feeling that it is “helping” them.
I’ve had one for a month and if you pay attention to the EPOC and TE of your workouts it does help. I stopped doing things by mileage/pace and started doing it by intensity and time and I am seeing some good results from it. If your a nut for data you can always buy a GPS or run pod and get that data. For the bike, you would definitly want to buy the bike pod. I like it because it replaces your front skewer so it stays with the wheel. If I want to ride my road bike or my tri I just move the wheel from bike to bike and I don’t have to move the computer around. I don’t use the cadence pod though. I don’t have any use for my cadence stats.
Thanks AlexG. Have you read the Suunto_t6c_Running_Guide_Book.pdf? I was wondering if it would apply to cycling also?
It was def an interesting read. If I got the GPS pod would I still need to get the Bike Pod since the GPS I would assume takes care of the speed from the Bike Pod.
No I havent read that yet. I don’t know all the functionality of the GPS pod but I would assume you could just buy that and be fine. The problem is then you have another device to wear on you.
