So, I’m thinking of making the move to power. I think the option maybe Powertap SL 2.4 - the wireless option. Will I be able to switch the wheel and unit from bike to bike, or do I have to do a new set-up when I switch bikes. I would like to have the PT available for TT and road bike.
yes - you’ll just need to buy two mounting units and possibly switch cassettes depending on your drive train

As long as you buy two mounting kits, you’ll just switch the computer and the wheel. I have the wired version but use the same PT head unit and hub on a road and TT bike. It doesn’t take too long to swap the wheel. If you’re serious about taking your training to a new level, power is the only way to go.
