Go to a reputable running store. Go in. Bring in your old shoes that you have recently ONLY run in. They will help you out. Oh, and you should not change the shoes you have been running in, solely because you injured your ankle. Don’t run if it is still bothering you. And if it isn’t bothering you anymore, then you will not need a different running shoe. You don’t want a stable running shoe if your foot type doesn’t necessitate it. No matter what anyone says their own favortie shoe is, NEVER EVER get a shoe unless you have 1. gone to a good running store 2. tried on a bunch after they have examined you.
Hope this helps.
