Does anyone know of some good and safe places to ride in the Las Vegas area? My wife and I are planning a 6 hour training ride in late January and the weather in Northern MN is not too good at that time of year. Or does anyone know of some other places to ride in the US that we can fly to fairly cheaply?
Arizona. I know a few people from east coast who had early IM races and went there to train for a 2-week block at a time.
You can’t beat Tucson. Flats to mtns to ride, tons of trails for running and mtb biking, lots of groups to train with. Bike lanes everywhere. Good master program if you don’t mind sharing the pool with a few olympians. Trisports.com and The Running Shop are there in case you need anything tri related.
