You do know the season is pretty much over? I hope you brought your warmers and toe covers. I live about a mile and a half west of there and I haven’t seen the sun or blue skies in about a week already. The two week Indian summer in SF has already come and gone.
No kidding! I wore arm warmers, leg warmers, and vest yesterday morning on my ride and really could have used shoe covers. The day before for my long run I was in tights and a jacket.
I can’t stand the cold weather my friends!
I know the season is pretty much over, but people are still training right? I will be there for about two weeks and then fly to Hawaii.
I hope I can get some training done in SF!!
Where do you guys swim?
CLM, what types of temperatures are you talking about? I have a half ironman in Ohio this weekend and I am freaking out about over heating and getting sunburned!
San Francisco is always cold…I’m guessing it’s in the 50’s. The good news is usually if you go over any of the bridges out of the city you’ll encounter lots of sunshine! San Diego has cooled down a bit too, I love this time of year!!
Even going over the bridges won’t warm you up much this week. Highs for much of bay interior valleys are only in low 70’s. This is the most fog I can remember in month of Sept around here…and I am fron here. So much for Indian summer. The fog is so bad I don’t even bother wearing glasses since they are covered with moisture after about 5 minutes. More importanly, the grape growers are really freaking out and at this pace will be picking cab on Halloween!

Damned freezing! Probably low 50s this morning, with a definite chill in the air. Yesterday it didn’t clear until 4PM, but was still cold (like wearing a heavy jacket cold). I’ll take the heat anyday.
It has been butt ass cold for nearly 2 weeks and this is the time of year its supposed to be nice and sunny. Weird weather.
I’m loadin up the Jeep and driving to Mexico on Sunday for some sunshine, sangria, bocce ball, tuna fishing, mud baths, and catching up on a lot of reading.
