so im going to san diego to party it up for new years and im not taking the bike. it will be a run focused weekend (i hope) and i was wondering if anyone knew of any nice routes to run, and dont say the damn beach. ill be inthe pb area so maybe ill see some of you all at moondoggies. and how has the weather been in the morning lately??
Mission Bay has a nice route to run but you will end up near the dreaded beach. The weather is cold for San Diego right now (9 AM), it’s 47 degrees! It’s sunny inland, I have no idea what it looks like in PB. Have fun at Moondoggies.
if you have a car, drive up to penasquitos canyon. 12 miles of trails.

Also, you should head over to Balboa Park. And yeah, its cold in the AM’s. Getting to be in the 30’s overnight, 40’s in the mornings before 10.
i dont mind ending up by the beach, i just didnt want people sending me messages saying i should just do some beach runs on the sand. thanks a lot.
