I’m going to Nice, for training with som training-dudes from Sweden. We will be in Nicé between 6:th-21:th April. Any suggestion for good bikes routes or bikeshops are greatly appreciated!
I have also tried to get in touch with the local tri-club, with out any success, would really appreciate if we could team up with anybody in the pool.

There are some great bike routes just north of Nice, head out along the 202, cross the La Manda bridge and head up to Gattieres. From there you can pick up the IM France course or head up Col de Vence, a classic climb. You have got the option of plenty of 3 to 7 hour rides in that area.
There is an excellent cycle shop on the way out of Nice, just off the 202, their website is only in French but has a map etc…

You have plenty of road here depending on what you want to do. If you want to, I can also give you some informations to ride with the team of Ironman France organisation.
If you’re real Suedish you could also swim in the mediteranean sea in Nice as we just have our first Tri of the season here. for me it’s still a little bit cold

Well swedish or not, I really prefer the water temp being more than 16-degrees(celsius) before I swim

Water temp is 14° Celsius for now in Nice. Air temp is between 14 and 17 celsius but in the sun it could be very warm.
There was some incredible riding when I was there in 2004 and some great groups to ride with. I wasn’t able to locate any good shops in the immediate area of Nice so I can’t offer much info on that.
