Bike 2: 57cm Scattante XLR $100.00
This bad boy was 250 new (can get it new now for 200) get it here for 50% off!
Used this as a training frame for a year. Good frame for cheap. Nothing great, but for the right person this frame will suit you very well.

Matt,
Are you sure that Scat frame is a 58cm? They only list a 57cm frame on their site…

You think any of those scuffs would come out? Your camera is working quite nicely, I might add!

I just built up a bike with a 57cm scattante all aluminum frame. So far I’m the only one I’ve ever seen with one. Great winter training bike.
You said “not great” - what specifically did you find “not great” about the frame?

BY “not great” I just mean that when you bulid this bike, you socks wount be blown off. If you are really in tune with how a good frame rides, you wont have any “pleasant supprises” as to the the ride quality. It’ll ride like a 200 dollar heavy ALu frame. Nothing wrong with that! Like you said, GREAT BEATER BIKE that is plenty good enough to log the big training miles or winter stuff or to commute to work.
