Training cycle questions

This is more for the folks who do several Ironman distance races in a year.
Here’s my training outline now: A 24 week, four cycle training plan: 8 week base, 8 week build, and an 8 week peak, with 2 weeks of the peak phase being a taper period.
After completing an Iron distance race, with plans to do another within a couple months, where should I resume my training in the outline given to maintain fitness ? Should I literally go back to the corresponding week, or what ?
