For the ones that enjoy life so much, here is a cool gallery
It has been a hot windy Training camp, in fact, hot and windy conditions where ideal for bush fires. Although it didn’t affected my training schedule, it was sad to see so many fires on long rides and even close to the house where i was living.
It’s quite likely that Monica and I will be in Montpellier, France for Dec & April-June. If you do any camps in the late spring/early summer next year then drop me a line.
Getting the chance to train with you guys (and choke SAC) sounds like a lot of fun.
Nice pictures and great text… After not been in the country for 20 years you make me wanted to go back… at least for a couple of weeks! I guess at one point in your life the roots will call you to return home.
Why don’t you have them come to Switzerland for their camp in June/July instead. I would be glad to find accomodation for you guys while Sissiliana and Monica stay at my place :-)))
Great shots… some of the ones of the fires/smoke are quite haunting, beautiful almost. Then you remember it’s due to a fire, and how people’s homes and lives can be affected… did the smoke bother you at all while training? I remember trying to ride in the Okanagan on year when there was a bad fire, and it’s was pretty much impossible. It felt like smoking a pack of cigarettes.
