Trainer Road calibration and Garmin GMS070 Speed/Cadence Sensor

I couldn’t find an official Trainer Road thread that they’re active in, hence the new thread. I’ve been reading about the problems with developing a coasting calibration test for a turbo trainer in Trainer Road and the errors introduced through the delay in recording the cadence and speed due to sensors utilising magnets, which pass the sensor once a revolution. Would the newer GMS070 sensors help here due to their accelerometers? With what sort of frequency do these sensors transmit speed and cadence, and would it be high enough to improve the accuracy required for a more accurate calibration of the turbo trainer?
