Trainer ? (1)

I have recently started to use my trainer. Very nice ride, bla, bla bla.

My question - It seems I am getting numb in the manely area pretty quickly and often. This does not happen very often when I ride outside in the same set up. I like my saddle. I realize I change positions when ridding out side much more often and that helps.
I find it difficult to ride standing on the trainer, just not enough resistance even when I elivate the front wheel (using a cycleops wind trainer)

Any chance that this problem has anything to do with saddle position while the bike is on the trainer? Anyone use one of those padded seat covers just when they ride on the trainer? Would that help? Lookign for some advice.
