I have been training and racing in Asics cumulus and I am very happy with the shoes. They are a bit heavy, but not too bad. I am considering getting a pair of shoes that are a bit lighter weight that have similar biomechanical characteristics as the cumulus without all the fluff. Unfortunately, I have to wear orthotics and find that they work best with a neutral shoe. They also add weight. A key thing for me is keeping a similar heel to forefoot drop and having a removeable liner for the orthotics. I would like to stick with the Asics line if possible. Any suggestions? Thanks.
