Ive tried looking at some internet sites but it hasnt really helped since im not familiar with the area as far as the trails are concerned.

There are lots of trails up here. The 9 trails run goes from one end to the back and is the best running to hit up. www.allwedoisrun.com or get the map here http://www.allwedoisrun.com/course_map.htm it will guide you through a lot of the hilly stuff. If you want the flats then head out to elwood mesa or elings park too. That should be more than enough running there.

The only bit is that the centre portion round rattlesnake got burnt this summer but its still fun. One other trail thats well worth it would be romero canyon, some of the premier runners and bikers will be up there throwing down but its still super quiet and you get the best view of the town from the top! go do romero first

its for a date, not training. im taking this girl out for a lil fun run. she goes to ucsb and runs a lil bit but i was talking to her and she was mentioning wanting to join the schools triathlon team, she does everything mildly so i figured she could handle a lil 4 mile jog with some good scenery. thanks for the info

If you are willing to do an uphill run, try Romero Canyon. While it is sustained uphill to 3500 feet, you can run the main trail which is an old dirt road so there aren’t any impossibly steep sections. It is in the hills above Montecito. Incredible views!

that sounds awesome, but this will be our first date…i dont want to scare her. or run her into the ground. a few rollers and maybe one lil climb should be suffice. thanks

do jesuitta or insperation, all the other trails are straight up!

I used to ride this on my mountain bike. On one day I started out just after a VERY cute 20 something who was running. She looked like she must have weighed 100 - 105 lbs. I never caught her, and be assured I tried.

On a clear winter day this view will knock you over.
