Can I ask what might appear as a sarcastic question? I’m just trying to help. Ok here it is:
Why don’t you just sell your vision bars, brake levers and shifters and then replace them with drop bars and STI? Your Dual would make a great road bike or triathlon bike. Hmmm, I wonder why it’s named Dual? LOL! I’m just kidding. But seriously, you should consider doing that before you trade down. Also you will always have the ability to switch your seat around and get a good fit.

that is actually good advice but I need a tri bike and have two bikes I would be willing to trade him (both nice bikes) so it would actually be of benifit to both of us.
I have, and am still considering this option, but to do so I would have to spend another $200 or so after the sale of the cockpit to achieve that configuration. Also, the steerer tube is cut as shown, and may require some undesirable stem angle & length to achieve a proper fit. The bike can be set up as both, but is primarily a tri bike (and a great one at that) and I would rather see someone get a great race-ready tri bike than invest in creating a half-breed.
I’ll see what kind of responses come in, hopefully we can work out a mutually beneficial exchange.
