Anyone else signed up for the Tour of Sweden from May 17-31st ( http://www.tosweden.se )? I’ve got my fingers crossed that there will be one or two other English speakers who plan on riding at a reasonable pace, because I’ll likely only be able to keep up with Bjorn and Jonas for the first mile of each day. If you’re planning on going, let me know. Jonas has assured me that a tour of the original IKEA is on the itinerary, as well as a few ABBA-only disco parties.
Haha. I don’t get why people always tell me they hate me because of my job. It’s hard work dude. I mean, anyone can sit in a cubicle and stare at internet porn from 9-5. But spending two weeks riding across Sweden with the best biker in the sport – that’s hard work. I deserve an AIG exec-like bonus (without the 90% tax).
PM or e-mail (bculp@competitorgroup.com) me your phone #, we need to catch up. I have to make sure you came to your senses and quit the swim team to do tris full time.
One of these days I’d like to do the Vatternrunden. Kind of crazy to travel all the way to Sweden just to ride 300 kms around a lake since I could do that at home, but it’s an event with 17,000 participants so it would be fun. It’s been a long time since I was last in Sweden, so it would be a good excuse.
The Tour of Sweden seems like an amazing event, but the Scandinavian weather at that time of the year can be quite dicey, can it not?
Swimming is over, you sure missed out on getting to swim for Miami. started running and biking a couple weeks ago. So does Tri Mag have you “working” collegiate nats?
If you are lucky the weather will be just fine. Last Saturday it was 20 degrees Celsius. I even rode my bike in regular bike shorts and jersey Today it was a little bit colder but it´s some weeks left You will see great nature and lovely girls
