Word on the street is that Landis had a bit of a spill today on a training ride. Anyone hear anything about that?

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Floyd Landis crashed his bike during a training run for the Tour of California on Thursday.
The former Tour de France champion still plans to compete Saturday in his first race back from a two-year doping ban, which expired Jan. 30.
Landis’ crash was announced by Tour of California officials moments before he was due to appear at a news conference promoting the race, which begins with a prologue Saturday in downtown Sacramento.
A tour spokesman said Landis was “bruised up pretty good,” but will compete in the race.
Where are the teams setting up at?
The DoubleTree hotel on Arden. They have been leaving on training rides between 10-11 and riding on the American River trail. Saw a bunch of them there today, and tomorrow should be even better.
Is everyone on High Road riding rebadged Giant TT bike or does that one belong to anyone in particular?
Thanks for the pics, these kind of threads really get me excited for race.
I think it’s Allen Lim’s bike. They should try to get the guy a new one though. He’s a huge reason for their success.
Does that HighRoad TT bike have a Zipp rear and HED front wheel?
Seems weird seeing the Rabobank guys on Giants after all those years on Colonago!
Those Columbia kits are hideous! That is just poor design.
That Jelly Belly GT is something else. Needs a little more color?

Yeah, what’s up with that? Where’s the Plasma? Is in not UCI legal?

Because they saw the drag numbers and decided that they couldn’t afford to lose the advantage?
Agreed. Same with Canellara on a Specialized Transition…it will take a while to get used to that.

Yes, indeed.
Note to triathletes - beyond the flashy bikes, note the clothes and coverage on the Pro roadies when training. I am guessing that most triathlets would be riding around nearly naked on a day like that!! ![]()
Did anyone check out the behind the seat water bottle holder on the picture of the Coloumbia team? Looks sort of like the one jonnyo made maybe a little low though.
I’m sure it just an 2008 bike without a Oval Concepts stem and a set of training wheels.
I’m pretty sure that’s the team paint job from '08. Which would in turn explain the 7800.
who’s riding the Parlee?
Fly V Australia is the team.
Here is what the Ouch team is using (Landis’s team).

I can’t believe they didn’t make him change his name to Kloyd Klandis…
Here’s some more pics from today:

Bob Roll with Mark Cavendish’s bike, Hincapie’s bike in background.

Colavita Sutter Home’s Jamis T2’s

George Hincapie’s bike, with George standing behind it.

Tyler Hamilton’s naked Fuji D6.

Gotta love Garmin Slipstream’s collection, complete with Hannah Montana poster.

Official vehicles.

David Zabriskie’s Felt.

That’s a row of Cervolo Pjorn!
wait, if Columbia is on Scott, why is that a giant tt bike?
I noticed that to. It was strange… I couldn’t find any Giant logos on the bike anywhere. I saw George cooling down on that very bike, and he had another one on the roof of a car there which also had his name on it.
Anyone know what the “plugs” are on the seatposts of the Cervelos?
Lots of stuff like that if you look around those pics. I love how many bikes have zipps on them, but are sponsored by other wheel companies.
