I think there is a Lance Armstrong effect going on with rural drivers this month— They have been much more considerate than usual this July. I noticed the same thing July 2004. Has anyone else noticed this?
no…today I punched out the drivers window of a Hyundai…fucking white trash bitch. To think I was in a cross walk with a walk sign…she said that her husband would find me…so, I told her that if the best he could do was a god damn huyndai, and a fat ignorant bitch wife…when he is out of his job cleaining he can look me up

I heard “LANCE” screamed out of passing cars about 3-4 times this afternoon during a L2/3 - 4hr ride up the coast
yeah…been feeling this too. kind of nice for a change.
I definitely noticed this last summer. I got waves from just about every driver during the month of July in 04. I imagine the fact that I was in Tx made a difference with the folks as well. In fact, I was regularly riding in Collin County at that time (where Lance rode in his teen years).
