I am trying to complete my TDF plans. Does anyone know what time the prologue begins? I cannot find anything on the web and need to purchase my train tickets accordingly.
Who knows, but, I’d get there early sit in a nice outdoor cafe’ and start drinking. It will be tough to get close to the course any other way as all of Flanders will be there.

The prologue is scheduled to start at 13:50. At least this is the time the Publicity Caravan will be on the course. The first rider is due to start at 15:50 and the last at 19:07.
We’ll be heading over a couple of hours prior to the first rider.

Yeah im going too—but leaving SF on thr 14th and coming back home on the 27th. Going to see the Plateau de Beille, Nimes finish, Alpe d’huez, Besancon and Paris.
My first trip to the Tour, very excited.
