I not seeing KUOTA, LIGHTSPEED, AGEIS and a few other of the more popular bikes I see around town and in tris? (unless during the 7 hours a day I watch and rewatch the tour, I am just missing them) Is it contract issues? Are the above bikes just not Tour De France quality? (although I would have to dispute this one) answer and opinions please?
It’s all about money and sponsorship. Litespeed sponsored Lotto (I think) a few years ago, but I guess they decided to put their sponsorship dollars elsewhere. Every now and then you’ll see a Litespeed or some other frame re-badged as an official team ride if the cyclist really likes it.
