If you are not going away this long weekend, don’t forget that the Aurora Grand Prix Bike race is on Sunday. It’s part of the Ontario Cup Road Race Series. Great course, great event. This race won Road Race of the year last year in Ontario. It’s run on an 8K loop so lot’s of chances to see the racers during the event.
All the triathletes should be in Belwood this weekend.

Cause I am doing the race announcing for the Aurora Grand Prix. It’s my home town race and my club the Cyclissimo Cycling club puts the race on. Besides, I don’t really race triathlons any more. Just jump into the odd one for fun.
Have fun at Belwood. Great venue for a triathlon.
I work right next door to Cyclissimo (at Steam Engineering) but I can’t make it. Too bad, I would’ve enjoyed it.

Steve - where is the course in Aurora. I’m heading out for my long ride Sunday morning and typically ride up in that area. If I know exactly where it is (and when), I’d love to stop by to watch it for a bit.

Course map, race times and other details if you are riding or driving up to spectate are in the pdf below. Note that this is the ONLY road race of signifiance that takes place in the GTA these days.
Last year the racing was outstanding.
