If Torbjorn Sinballe is touted as the “gold standard” for bike position are more riders trying to emulate his position?
What are the key characteristics that make his fit ideal in order of performance? Anyone know what size frame he rides and what his measurements on the bike are?
I figured that…but, are there any links or sites that show a fit analysis in detail?
I know Tom D. has some photos on his site that shows “before” and “after” pictures; showing how angles have changed. Just trying to find something in greater detail that would perhaps take the “F.I.S.T.” articles to the next level and show actual input/output?
Todd Kenyon has done some pretty great fits, including some top pro’s using motion based software. He’s got an archive of pro positions that he’s reviewed in great detail and has a solid understanding of biomechanics. I’ve watched him fit a lot of people and everyone made significant changes that resulted in faster and more comfortable positioning.
OK, this is going to sound like a really “dumb” question, but than again there are no dumb questions…right?
When measuring the saddle height from centerline of the bottom bracket, where on the saddle do you measure to? Top of the midpoint of the saddle, top of the saddle through the midpoint of the saddle rails or other?
