Just looked up Frankfurt on Yahoo weather and apparently sunrise is at 5.19 a.m. today so it is already full light over there. So, it could be the pros start at 6.10, espec since it is going to be so hot there today. On positive side, it is a very nice 64* there right now. Looking at the hourly predictions, it will be 71-ish at 8 am, 80 at 10 am, 88 at 12 noon, 95 at 2 pm, and 100 at 4 pm. Just a tad toasty over there.

In Munich now, and from west coast of Cad. Can’t sleep so been up since 4 am. Sun or “light†is around 4:30.
I definitely don’t feel any heat wave here for sure, pleasant 60-80d degrees. Much cooler than home.

It’s interesting to see Jan, Lange, and Sebi’s positions since they all do a ton of wind tunnel testing.
Supposed to be nearly 100°F today in Frankfurt so I don’t expect a super fast marathon today.
I’m in Europe now and days are very long this time of year. When it’s hot it will keep on getting hot throughout the day and stay hot for a looong time - pros will be done by the time temperatures peak but age groupers will get the worst of it. Sunset is around 9:30pm.
