I just realized the other day that reached a ridiculous milestone…yes, I joined Cerveloguy, Francois and Tom Demerly in the ST “Ironman” 10,000 post club…OK, my priorities are twisted, but thankfully Tom Demerly has almost double the posts…I don’t feel too bad :-). I believe Paulo would be somewhere in between 10K and 20K if you added up the posts under his previous usernames?
Yup, that is a lot of writing. Now, realistically, some of these posts are me just quickly typing “that’s huge” in response to some zany quip. Some are more thoughtful. I actually did do a little audit of the content of my posts on here one time and felt OK about what I found.
I hope it is a decent way to spread and share ideas and information and promote my business. Fact of the matter is, even f I didn;t own a triathlon store I’d still participate in the forum. Maybe even more believe it or not.
Don’t expect much My Friend. I’m not certain how I’ll fair. I guess I could have a decent day, but if I manage to break 5 hours I will be very impressed with myself.
It’s not the sheer numbers that count, it’s how many utterly useless posts one can post per week that’s more “impressive” - bonus if they have nothing to do with triathlon! I would nominate myself for that distinction, but I would feel honored if Lazy Ben would take it from me. You Dev are waaaaaay lacking in that department.
“I joined Cerveloguy, Francois and Tom Demerly in the ST “Ironman” 10,000 post club…”
But at least you other guys have something to say.
I’d like to dig up that Dev post from a several years back that commented that if Cerveloguy spent half as much time training as posting, he’d be a semi decent triathlete.
I believe Kittycat, Ironclm, H20Fun and Klehner are rapidly encroaching on the 10K “My priorities are twisted” post club
last tri in 83 deserves the ST “white jersey” or something similar. He’s almost to 9,000 and he’s only been here a bit over 2 years. 10 posts a day is ST-rong.
