What kinds of workouts merit elixirs as described here? Surely the 4 hour brick, but what about the one hour session at mid-week?
I mix one up after anything over 2 hours. These are the calories I put in before I jump in the shower. As soon as I get in the door I mix that thing up, drink it, throw some towels in the dryer to warm up for my cats to lay on and jump in the shower. Then I’m good.
Some food, plenty more to drink and a couple hours of The History Channel and that is my recovery.
