It has come to our attention that several e-mails were sent to a large number of USA Triathlon members in regards to the recent USAT Board Elections and Petition. These messages WERE NOT Official e-mails sent by USA Triathlon or sent on behalf of USA Triathlon. USA Triathlon adheres to a very strict privacy policy to protect our membership from such unsolicited emails. USA Triathlon has not rented or sold your information to any of these parties.
We sincerely apologize for the confusion and inconvenience this has caused many of you.
We are investigating the situation, and believe at this time that the e-mail addresses were most likely obtained through race director and club databases from which you may have previously participated.
