Here are some pics of the latest bike we sent out the door, aka White Lightning. It’s as much white as we’ve ever put on a bike. Look for it at Ironman NZ in a couple of months.
Specs:
Kuota Kueen K (custom white paint)Adamo Road saddle (white)Reynolds carbon clincher wheels Vittoria Rubbino tires (white)Shimano DA 7800 grouppoEaston Attack TT barsKeo Sprint pedals (white)FSA SLK-lite crankset w/ ceramic BBTacx ceramic pulleys
The customer specified what components they wanted and they liked the final look of the bike. I would have preferred a little more color or black myself but it isn’t my bike.

oh OK!
She was sitting around the store and we figured that we would put her on the bike someplace to see how long it took the ST observers to notice. I’ll go to the toy store this weekend so that the bike pics we post in the future have a figurine somewhere on them.
The Attack bars are the medium size. I think that the bars look deceptively short because the pads are small, roughly 1/2 the size of the Vison pads. Also, the pad rests sit farther forward than most aerobar pads. This customer also likes to ride with their hands farther forward than most so that their hands rest on the shifters instead of the extensions. It really depends on how you ride and what works for you, we measured everything out for this individual and he’s actually ridden these bars on a different bike before.
cool so find hula it will be… BTW that bike is so cool. I’m not a fan of white, it looks too utilitarian (like a white van or a white chevy pick-up) but this one is awesome. The other white one that I liked a lot was Chris Lieto’s Kona TTX
I like it! The white tires are a bit much, I don’t mind the black caliper, but the blue on the seat has to go. I’d be taking a black permanent marker to that seat before I hit the road.
