TOC- What disc did Cancellara use?

Sub9 or flat Zipp?

I thought I saw a photo of the back end of one of the bikes- but I do not know whose it was- and it was a flat disk. I wouldn’t quote me on that though. There are some good photos from James Huang over on cyclingnews.com

Lots of pics, no clear shot of back wheel that I can see.

He not only won without a Cervelo, he did it with a Flat disc!!! My OH My!!

looked flat to me. not surprising. the sub-9 would flex too much for these big powerhouses.

I notice that I dont see Sub9’s in prologues, but the same teamrider uses them in longer TT’s. Is it because of flex for sure? I am only a little guy and I can sometimes hear it rub the chainstays on my P2SL on a hard efffort. It does make sense.

i suspect it’s mainly the flex.

The Specialized Transition also has really REALLY narrow chainstays. i thought they were narrower than a P3C’s when i looked at them, but i did not do any measurements.

And there is a slight fit issue I believe

Is someone on the team using some really old 404s (the red one in the back)? With the new ones quicker, why not use the best 404s possible?
