Sorry 'bout 'dat. 'Opefully WTC will let you hEnglish guys race with the French-speaking guys next year.

I raced the English race last week, what are you talking about…kinda surprised that the results didn’t get any ST love, but I figured it was 'cause all you fast guys were pissed that I KQ’d with a time of 15:46…

Seriously, what an embarrassment, and it happens all the time…

Oh, and that sign is totally illegal - l’Office de la Langue Française will be paying them a visit…

I should have put it in pink…

I’m entering the French race next year. At the Kona roll down, they will do an official test adminstered by a bureaucrat from Quebec City to ensure that you meet the cutoff for french skills to collect a slot. It’s like getting your professional engineering, nursing, legal, or medical association certifications…no french = no designation

For fun, someone needs to put this idea in a Quebec politicians head. I’m sure they would try and make it a real test.

Since when people in Quebec speak French?? I spent 3 years there and I clearly remember learning a whole new language, kriss de tabarnak.

Awesome.

I can parle some francais though so hopefully I’m good.

That is one of the better typos I’ve seen. Where is this sign?

Right in Tremblant village, close to Lac Tremblant.

That’s funny. Can’t belive I missed it, I was just there earlier this week. Did you see it on other signs? I would normally pick up on that kind of stuff.

If the English speaking race was last week, that’s not as bad as the French speaking race seemingly postponed to next year!
